Landscape Maintenance Services

The City of Rancho Cordova, Department of Public Works, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for comprehensive landscape maintenance services. This includes routine maintenance of public corridors, streetscapes, medians, rights-of-way, and facility grounds. Services encompass mowing, edging, pruning, fertilization, weed and pest control, litter removal, and irrigation system monitoring and adjustments. The contract is expected to be for a period of five (5) years, with potential for a two (2) year extension. The City is located in Sacramento County, California. Key activities include maintaining turf, shrubs, planting areas, groundcover, vines, medians, and site amenities. Specialized services such as pesticide application, manual weed removal, tree and shrub pruning (limited to clearance and minor maintenance), and irrigation system repairs are also required. The contractor must adhere to industry standards, applicable regulations, and sustainable maintenance practices. The contract also includes provisions for unscheduled/extra work and optional services at Light Rail Stations, contingent on a separate agreement with Sacramento Regional Transit District.
