]North Cargo Berth (NCB) 4 Rehabilitation & Modernization - Step 1
The Canaveral Port Authority is soliciting proposals for the North Cargo Berth 4 Rehabilitation and Modernization project. This project involves the demolition of the existing pier and sheet pile wall, followed by the construction of a new approximately 982-foot-long combi-wall bulkhead berth. The scope of work also includes a prestressed concrete pile supported reinforced concrete relieving platform, cell fenders, bollards, shoreside mooring dolphins, earthwork, paving, stormwater conveyance, potable water and wastewater utilities, high mast lighting, fencing, and approximately 71,500 cubic yards of dredging with offshore disposal. This is a two-step Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Step 1 focuses on qualifications and short-listing potential contractors. Only those successfully short-listed in Step 1 will be invited to participate in Step 2, which will involve submitting a price proposal. The estimated budget for this project is $45,000,000.
