Washed Aggregate Purchase

La Plata County is seeking bids for the purchase of 3,300 tons of Cover Coat Washed Type I - Specified Aggregate, or an equivalent product. The aggregate must meet Colorado Department of Transportation Gradation Specifications for Cover Coat Aggregate Table 703 - 6 Type I (3/8"), and must have been washed. Bidders must be located within La Plata County. The contractor will submit a unit cost per ton for the product, which La Plata County will transport. The product must be available no later than June 15, 2026, and must be held for no less than sixty (60) days to allow La Plata County to schedule hauling. The term of the resulting agreement shall be from the date of execution until December 31, 2026. The County reserves the right to reduce or increase quantities if deemed necessary. Bids must be submitted electronically via email.
