Timber Management Consulting Services for Greenville County

Greenville County is soliciting proposals from qualified Timber Management Consultants to provide professional forestry services for County-owned properties associated with solid waste facilities. The scope of work includes implementing an existing timber management plan, facilitating timber sales, reforestation, and ongoing stewardship of approximately 1,765 acres. These forestry activities must be carefully coordinated with landfill cell development schedules, maintenance of vegetative buffers, protection of stormwater features, and preservation of landfill monitoring wells. The selected consultant will collaborate closely with Solid Waste staff to ensure timber activities align with both revenue generation and long-term operational needs. Timber management activities at these sites have been ongoing since 2005.
