York Chiller Maintenance Services for MDC Brooklyn

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance and startup services for three York Paraflow chillers (Models # YPC-FP-18S-17C-S-D). The required services include removing and reinstalling condenser and absorber heads with new gaskets, removing and reinstalling crossover pipes, mechanically brushing condenser and absorber barrels, providing and installing new flange gaskets, performing burner services on all three machines, and confirming proper operations. All work is to be performed between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with completion no later than April 24, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the work area is cleaned daily and all trash is disposed of properly. The FBOP will provide basic utilities such as water, restroom access, and minimal electricity for small hand tools. The contractor must provide all other necessary equipment, supplies, and materials. Security clearance paperwork for all personnel must be submitted at least seven working days prior to the start of work.
