Description
This project involves the installation of approximately 6,100 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water main, 63 service connections, and 21 fire hydrants. These improvements will expand Carson City's municipal water system to provide domestic and fire water to the Stewart Facility. The contract duration is 120 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,040.00 per day. Prevailing wages must be paid. Plans, specifications, and addenda can be downloaded for $15.00. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on March 28, 2019, at the project site. All prime contractors and major subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend.
