Countermeasure Receiver Acquisition and Repair

This solicitation is for the acquisition or repair of 3 units of NSN 7R-5865-017083360-P8, a countermeasure receiver. This part is flight critical and requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality. The approved source(s) possess unique design capabilities, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge that are not economically available to the government. Alternate sources must qualify according to the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Offers received without the required source approval information will not be considered for award. The government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, but all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability. Based on market research, the government is not using FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
