Market Street and Fifth Street Roadway and Sidewalk Improvements

Jefferson County, Missouri is soliciting sealed bids for the Market Street and Fifth Street STP-5507 (607) & TAP-5445 (613) projects. The scope of work includes the construction of sidewalks, closed drainage systems, parking areas, pedestrian lighting, signage, and the reconstruction of the roadway. The project extends from Fifth Street and High Street to Beckett, then to Fourth Street and Market, down Market Street to Front Street, and finally down Front Street to Windsor Harbor. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on April 1st, 2026, at 2:00 PM in Conference Room 206 of the Jefferson County Annex building, located at 725 Maple Street, Hillsboro, MO 63050. Bids submitted by those not in attendance will not be considered. The anticipated start date for the work is November 1, 2026, with a completion date of October 1, 2027. Plans and specifications will be available for download from the Jefferson County website beginning March 20, 2026.
