Building FC478 and FC481 Paint and Flooring Repairs

This project involves the preparation, painting, and replacement of flooring systems in Buildings FC478 and FC481 at MCB Camp Lejeune. The scope of work includes painting interior and exterior surfaces, doors, door frames, and window frames, as well as repairing damaged surfaces. Flooring work involves removing existing flooring and installing new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) in sleeping rooms and Epoxy Resinous Flooring in shared/common spaces and lounges, including stair treads and stairwells. All flooring transitions and cove base will also be replaced. The project requires adherence to specific paint colors and flooring types as indicated in the design basis, with the contractor responsible for ordering all materials in time to avoid delays. The facility will remain operational during construction, and contractors must coordinate their operations to minimize interference. Lead paint is present and will be scraped and encapsulated as necessary.
