Tax Assessing Agent Services for the Town of Liberty

The Town of Liberty is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional assessing services on a part-time, contractual basis. The selected contractor will act as the Town's Assessor's Agent, responsible for administering a fair and equitable property tax assessment program in accordance with Maine law. The Town anticipates that full services will begin by Mid to Late July, 2026, and prefers a transition period allowing for overlap and coordination with the current Assessing Agent.
