Johnson Ferry Road at Shallowford Road Intersection Improvements

Cobb County, Georgia is soliciting proposals for design-build services to reconfigure the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and Shallowford Road. This project, identified by GDOT P.I. No. 0020001 and Cobb County Project No. B2437, is funded by Federal, State, and local funds. Proposers must comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Proposers submitting bids over $2,000,000.00 must be prequalified with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). Bids of $2,000,000.00 or less require proposers to be registered subcontractors or prequalified with GDOT. Davis Bacon wage rates for Cobb County, Georgia will apply. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Participation (SBP) are strongly encouraged, with DBE firms requiring certification from the Georgia Department of Transportation's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) office. Proposers are also required to comply with the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act" and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
