The City of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, will hold public hearings to discuss proposed amendments to its land development and zoning ordinances. The Planning and Zoning Board will convene on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber to consider public comment and make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will then hold its own hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall to consider the proposed ordinance. The ordinance, identified as ORDINANCE NO. 2026 - 05, includes amendments to various sections of the city's code of ordinances related to land development, including the authority and duties of the Planning and Zoning Board, definitions within Chapter 100, subdivision plat approval processes, and the submission and review of subdivision construction plans.
