Description
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is soliciting bids for the sale of forest products. The sale includes approximately 70.0 MBF of Sugar Maple Sawtimber, 43.4 MBF of White Ash Sawtimber, 47.6 MBF of Black Cherry Sawtimber, 12.5 MBF of Red Maple Sawtimber, 3.9 MBF of Yellow Birch Sawtimber, and 3.0 MBF of Basswood Sawtimber. Additionally, the sale includes approximately 595.7 Cords of Hardwood Firewood. Contract extensions may be granted at the discretion of the DEC for extenuating circumstances, with no single extension exceeding 12 months and the total length of all extensions not exceeding 24 months. Requests for extensions must be made in writing at least 60 days prior to the contract termination date.
