This is a sole source solicitation for pressure and dial gauges, identified by NSN 1H-6685-010492963-X5. The Technical Data Package (TDP) version is 007. The required quantity is 8 each. Delivery is required to two locations: W25G1U at DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002, and W62G2T at DLA Distribution San Joaquin, Tracy, CA 95304-5000. The government has determined that it does not own the data or rights necessary to contract for repair of this part from other sources, and it would be uneconomical to acquire this data or rights or to reverse engineer the part. Therefore, the government intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may express their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting proposals, quotations, or capability statements within 45 days of the publication date of this synopsis (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely at the Government's discretion. Information received will be used to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. Based on market research, the Government is not using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
