]http://www.sdpublicnotices.comThe City of Brandon, South Dakota is issuing Sales Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2026, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,800,000. These bonds will be used to provide funds for a curb and gutter project within the City. The bonds are secured by the City's two percent tax on gross receipts subject to the South Dakota Retail Occupational Sales and Service Tax and the South Dakota Use Tax Act. Additional items discussed and approved by the City Council include various claims, wage adjustments, an appeal of a conditional use permit for a gunsmithing business, renewals for On-Off Sale Malt Beverage and SD Farm Wine Licenses, contracts for golf course parking lot design and geotechnical testing, an alcoholic beverage consumption permit, hire of seasonal pool staff, acceptance of Tract 5 of The Bluffs Addition, approval for a vendor to sell ice cream in city parks, and approval of letters of intent and disclosures for the Rushmore Phase 3 project. The council also approved resolutions related to the bond issue and annexation of property, appointed depositories, a City Attorney, an official newspaper, planning and zoning commission members, a park advisory committee member, and a revolving loan fund appointee. Additionally, the council approved a Request for Proposals for the Brandon Park 2nd Addition Reconstruction, a bid schedule for the Ironwood Street extension project, and a bid for the Redwood Blvd. Storm Sewer Improvements project, as well as a contract for the Splitrock Blvd. utility improvements project.
