Solar Power Purchase Agreement for Lakehurst Elementary School

The Lakehurst School District Board of Education is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The selected provider will install and operate a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Lakehurst Elementary School to generate electricity for the district. Proposals may include alternate offers. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for April 23rd, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Lakehurst School District Board of Education office, with an optional facility inspection to follow. Attendance is strongly encouraged. Proposals are due and will be publicly opened on May 13th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the same location. Proposers must comply with New Jersey state laws regarding public contracts, affirmative action, equal employment, and contractor registration. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total contract cost, not exceeding $20,000.00, made payable to the Lakehurst School District Board of Education, is required with each proposal. A Certificate of Consent of Surety is also required.
