Center Road Water Main Improvements Project - Phase 1

The City of Burton is soliciting bids for the Center Road Water Main Improvements Project, Phase 1. The project involves the installation of approximately 1,103 feet of 12-inch Ductile Iron water main and appurtenances by open cut, and 150 feet of 12-inch Ductile Iron water main via Jack and Bore. Additionally, the scope includes the installation of a 16-inch gate valve on the existing water main, water service connections, storm sewer improvements, water main abandonment, and related restoration work. Bid documents can be obtained electronically by emailing a request to Sheri Winkler at AdminBC2075@stantec.com. A non-refundable payment of $25.00, by check only, payable to "Stantec Consulting Michigan Inc." is required to receive the electronic link. Checks should be mailed to 1168 Oak Valley Drive Suite 100, Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Bidders must purchase a set of plans and specifications to be a registered Plan Holder. Questions regarding the project should be submitted in writing via email to Shaghayegh Yaghmaie, PE at Stantec Consulting Michigan Inc. at shaghayegh.yaghmaie@stantec.com. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and include a Bidder's Qualification and Experience Statement, Proposal, Designation of Major Subcontractors and Suppliers, Legal Status of Bidder, and Bid Certification. A bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal amount is required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount.
