Modoc County Road Department is soliciting bids for aggregate screenings (chips) for the Newell District Shop. Deliveries are scheduled between July 20th and July 30th, 2026, Monday through Thursday, between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. The vendor will be responsible for coordinating deliveries with the Superintendent. The materials must conform to Modoc County requirements and the 2015 Standard Specifications, State of California, Department of Transportation, Section 37, including specific grading and quality requirements for screenings. The vendor must also provide material density data and an initial test for compliance. Bids will be awarded to the lowest bidder based on the total price delivered and stockpiled at the point of delivery. Unit prices must be valid for 180 days from the contract date. The county reserves the right to adjust quantities and reject any or all bids.
