Diltiazem 24Hr Capsules Procurement

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an unrestricted procurement of Diltiazem 24Hr Capsules. This procurement will serve the VA, including its Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacies (CMOPs) and Option 2 State Veterans Homes (SVH), as well as the Department of Defense (DoD), Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Indian Health Service (IHS), and Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). The VA plans to award a single contract to a responsible offeror capable of providing an uninterrupted supply of the contracted items. The contract will have a one-year base period with four pre-priced one-year option periods. Distribution of the contract items will be managed through the VA's and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs. Offerors are required to state the exact name under which the drug will be supplied and must possess a unique NDC number for that specific offeror. The successful offeror's label and unique NDC will be the sole labeling for the product, and contractors are prohibited from affixing their labels over existing ones.
