The State of Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is conducting a public auction to dispose of a surplus property located on the east side of US Highway 395 S, south of Parker Ranch Road, in Washoe County, Nevada. The parcel contains 43,570 square feet (1.00 net acre) and is suitable for stand-alone development. The appraised fair market value is $196,000.00, which will also serve as the minimum bid amount. Inspections of the property are available by appointment only. Interested parties can contact the NDOT Right-of-Way Division at (775) 888-7727 for inspections or further questions. Unauthorized persons on the property will be subject to prosecution for trespassing. Key terms for the sale include a 10% deposit required at the time of auction via cashier's check or money order payable to NDOT. All prospective bidders, except for sealed bids, must register prior to the auction to receive a bidding card. Personal or business checks will not be accepted. Sealed bids must be submitted by 11:00 A.M. on June 30, 2026, to the NDOT Right-of-Way Division at 1263 S. Stewart Street, Carson City, NV, 89712. E-mails and facsimiles will not be accepted.
