The Peralta Community College District is seeking a partnership to provide professional services for key initiatives within its PeopleSoft ecosystem. This project involves consolidating four colleges into three, with Laney College and Merritt College merging to form Oakland City College (OCC), while Berkeley City College and College of Alameda remain independent. The scope of work includes comprehensive PeopleSoft reconfiguration across Human Capital Management (HCM), Campus Solutions (CS), and Finance & Supply Chain (FSCM). The selected vendor must implement all configuration changes in a phased, non-production-first approach, ensuring full validation and business owner sign-off before any production cutover. Critical configuration items must be validated in non-production environments prior to go-live approval. Collaboration between Finance, HR, Student Services, and IT teams is essential throughout all phases. The vendor must adhere to effective-date discipline, prohibiting retroactive deletion of historical records.
