Winter Sand Supply for City of Auburn Public Works

The City of Auburn, Maine is soliciting proposals for the supply of 2,500 cubic yards of screened winter sand. The contractor will be responsible for all labor and equipment necessary for excavation, loading, grinding/screening, trucking, and stockpiling of the sand. The sand must meet specific gradation requirements. The City is looking to purchase the sand after July 1, 2026. An optional second year of supply is also included, at the discretion of the Public Works Director. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on May 28, 2026, and should be submitted to the Purchasing Department at 60 Court Street, Auburn, Maine 04210.
