Description

Federal Prison Industries/UNICOR intends to procure 10,000 yards of tan, plain weave nylon fabric. The fabric must weigh between 2.8-3.8 ounces per square yard and have a tear strength of a minimum of 9.0 pounds warp and 7.0 pounds fill. The usable cuttable width between selvage edges should be 59/60 inches. A Certificate of Conformance, shade test result, and lab test result for this fabric must precede or accompany each shipment of material, as failure to supply these documents may be cause for rejection of the shipment. The fabric must also be compliant with the Berry Amendment. The location for this fabric is the Butner Cutting Operation in Butner, NC.
