Emergency Shelter Services for Homeless Individuals

The City of Santa Barbara is seeking qualifications from experienced nonprofit service providers to deliver emergency shelter services for individuals experiencing homelessness. The selected provider will operate an emergency shelter located at 816 Cacique Street, Santa Barbara, California, a facility purchased by the City in January 2026. The chosen provider must be prepared to commence operations by July 1, 2026. A designated Project Manager from the selected service provider will serve as the primary point of contact for all communications, including reporting and invoicing, and will be responsible for overseeing all activities and deliverables outlined in the Scope of Work.
