On-Call Environmental Engineering Services

Pierce County is soliciting qualifications from consulting engineering firms to provide on-call environmental engineering services. These services will support Planning and Public Works projects and encompass a wide range of assessments, including biological, wetland, stream, geological, hydrogeomorphological, wildlife, hazardous material, landscape architectural, air, noise, and cultural resources. The selected consultant(s) will assist County staff with the design and permitting of projects aimed at avoiding, minimizing, and mitigating environmental impacts. The services are intended to achieve surface water management, water quality, flood control, and aquatic restoration goals, ultimately protecting, restoring, and enhancing fish and wildlife, wetlands, riparian areas, and other environmentally sensitive areas.
