Transportation of Rock Materials for Cowlitz County Headquarters Landfill

Cowlitz County is soliciting bids for the purchase and transportation of approximately 19,250 tons of rock materials. The materials will be furnished in transport quantities with a two-day notice for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Bids must be submitted on the attached proposal form, either by mail or in person, to the Department of Public Works. Faxed and emailed bids will not be accepted. This is an open-ended bid for the specified period, with base prices not to increase during the contract term. Transport trucks must have a minimum 10-yard capacity and be equipped with two-way radios. The successful bidder must have a minimum of two transports available to meet Cowlitz County's schedules. Deliveries may be required as early as 7:00 a.m. at the stockpile site. No subcontractors will be used without prior written approval from the County. All documents received in response to this invitation to bid will become a matter of public record.
