Mesa County is soliciting proposals for a financial institution to provide comprehensive banking and treasury management services. The selected vendor will be responsible for managing approximately 50 accounts with an average balance of $6 million, handling an estimated 4,000 ledger items, 8,000 deposits, 1,500 ACH transactions, and 50 wire transfers monthly. Services required include account management, treasury management, technology and system integration with existing county systems (Workday, Tyler/Eagle), fraud prevention and security, business continuity and disaster recovery, customer service, financial considerations, community investment, and a transition plan. The county also seeks solutions for specific operational scenarios such as digital disbursement for individuals, managing representative payee accounts for youth, and evaluating purchase card and travel card programs. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price agreement with an initial term of ten years.
