Ysleta Independent School District (YISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive pediatric medical services. Awards will be made on an incremental basis throughout the solicitation period, and vendors are encouraged to submit proposals as soon as possible. The district aims to establish multiple vendor agreements to ensure continuous service delivery. Services include primary medical care, which may involve ordering medication, labs, and diagnostic testing as needed, as well as providing appropriate referrals. The scope also encompasses providing comprehensive care to children with chronic illnesses. All medical findings and recommendations must be thoroughly documented in patients' health records. Services will be coordinated with existing YISD Comprehensive Care Center staff. The Medical Director role will involve signing standing orders, reviewing reports, and authorizing immunizations. Qualified vendors must provide services from a licensed Medical Doctor (MD), who will serve as the Medical Director. A Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) may practice under the MD's direction. Vendors must meet specific qualifications, including current licensure in Texas, passing a background check, and obtaining a Federal Tax ID/EIN. A minimum of five years of clinical experience is required, with a strong preference for prior experience with children and adolescents. Services are anticipated to be needed for sixteen (16) hours per week, Monday through Thursday, aligning with the YISD 226-day calendar year, though the schedule is subject to change.
