West Main Street Pedestrian Improvements

The Town of Wise, Virginia is soliciting bids for the West Main Street Pedestrian Improvements project. This project involves the demolition of existing concrete sidewalks, the construction of new concrete sidewalks and entrances, and the installation of a street lighting system. Bids will be received electronically via https://www.tlplanroom.com until 2:00 P.M. local prevailing time on June 16, 2026. A virtual bid opening will follow. Contract documents can be examined at the Town of Wise, Thompson & Litton, Inc., and online at TRASCO (http://www.trascoplanroom.com). Copies of the contract documents are available for purchase through TRASCO. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for June 2, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the offices of Thompson & Litton, Inc., 103 East Main Street, Wise, Virginia. Bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed Class A contractors in Virginia and pre-qualified by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate.
