Peculiar Support Equipment for F/A-18 NOLA Buy

This requirement is for the manufacture, assembly, and delivery of peculiar support equipment (PSE) to support the F/A-18 NOLA Adversary Site Stand up. The U.S. Navy intends to award this contract as a sole source to The Boeing Company due to their unique position as the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the EA-18G and F/A-18E/F aircraft and their associated PSE. The Boeing Company is the only entity possessing the necessary knowledge, experience, technical expertise, and technical data, including the proprietary technical drawing package, to fulfill this requirement without significant delays and requalification processes. Awarding to another source would require an estimated additional 24 months for reverse engineering and requalification, which would unacceptably delay the Government's ability to support the Warfighter.
