The USDA Forest Service, through its Procurement Operations, intends to utilize the Land Management Integrated Resources (LMIR) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to competitively award a contract for slashing conifer trees. This work is in support of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Butte Field Office for the Johnson Creek Conifer Encroachment Project. The project involves hand-operated conifer removal across approximately 550 acres, located about 2 miles northwest of Wise River, Montana. All work must be performed using contractor-furnished labor, hand tools, supervision, transportation, and necessary supplies, adhering to the Johnson Creek Conifer Encroachment 2026 specifications. The LMIR BPA is a national, multiple-award contracting vehicle that covers a wide range of land management services, including Professional Services, Fuels Reduction Treatment, Natural Resources Restoration, Engineering, and Project Management. This BPA is accessible to all Forests, Grasslands, and federal agencies. This notice serves as an announcement of the government's intent to issue a competitive BPA Call Order and is not a request for quotes or proposals. Only contractors holding an active LMIR BPA are eligible to respond to the forthcoming Call Order. The Call Order request for quotation (RFQ) will be emailed directly to all LMIR BPA holders, and any amendments or updates will also be distributed via email to these recipients. The requirement will be competitively awarded under the existing LMIR BPA, which is continuously solicited on SAM.gov. The LMIR BPA is an open, continuous BPA, allowing new contractors to submit proposals for BPA inclusion throughout its life.
