Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) Staffing Services

Vista Fire District #1 is soliciting proposals from qualified New York State Certified Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers to staff one Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B). The EMT-B will work alongside volunteer members during all operations, providing operational and administrative support related to patient care and transport. The provider must demonstrate expertise in public safety staffing models, particularly in BLS emergency medical services. Staffing is required Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00 hours. The contract is expected to begin as early as June 2026, on a month-to-month basis, with a 30-day notice of cancellation. The Vista Fire District will provide emergency response vehicles (ambulances), equipment, and supplies.
