Urgent and Non-Emergent Ambulance Transport Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is soliciting quotes for urgent and non-emergent ambulance transportation services. These services are required for the Omaha VA Medical Center and its associated facilities, including second VAMCs, Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), Community Living Centers (CLCs), and healthcare clinics. The contractor will be responsible for providing Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Specialty Care/Critical Care Transport (SCT/CCT) services on a 24/7 basis. The contract will cover transportation needs across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Services include patient transport, along with necessary equipment and personnel. The contractor must adhere to strict qualifications for personnel, including EMTs, Paramedics, and drivers, and maintain a fleet of safe and well-equipped ambulances. All personnel will be subject to background checks and must comply with HIPAA regulations. The contract anticipates a firm-fixed-price award with a period of performance from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2031, with potential for extensions.
