Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD)
Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD) is soliciting bids for the Quail Creek Water Treatment Plant (QCWTP) 90 mgd Expansion and Ozone Addition - Phase 3 project. This project involves a 35-mgd expansion to reach a total plant capacity of 90 mgd, including a new 90-mgd ozone facility with three ozone contactors, an ozone generation and feed system, hydrogen peroxide storage and feed, and onsite liquid oxygen (LOX) storage. The scope also includes a new Dissolved Air Flotation over Filters (DAFF) Facility with a pumped flash mix system, seven DAFF basins, DAF equipment, and associated piping. A structural enclosure over the DAFF basins is part of the base bid, with an optional enclosure for the new flocculation area available as Bid Alternate F. Additionally, a new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system will be added, along with modifications to existing chemical feed buildings for sodium hypochlorite generation, cationic polymer storage and feed improvements, and demolition of existing powdered activated carbon (PAC) and potassium permanganate systems. Bid alternates include expansion of the Bulk Chemical Building for a new onsite sodium hypochlorite generation system (Bid Alternate E) and a new anionic polymer storage and feed system (Bid Alternate G). The project also encompasses remodels within the existing Filter/Operations Building and civil site and yard piping improvements.
