]interview and surveillance system - eielson afb, ak
The 354th Security Forces Squadron requires a new interview and surveillance recording system to replace their current outdated equipment. The new system must be capable of supporting at least three interview rooms and one monitoring station, ensuring high-quality audio and video capture. It must also provide secure evidence management and integrate seamlessly with existing data analytics and case management infrastructure. The preferred system is Case Cracker due to its compatibility with current systems, and brand name justification has been approved. The system will include a central, PC-based recording server with a minimum of 16GB RAM and an 8TB SSD, configured in a RAID1 mirrored array for redundancy, capable of storing at least 750 hours of HD video and audio. The management software must support secure, time-synchronized recording, bookmarking/flagging, time-shifted playback, secure export to common digital formats (.mp4) with visible timestamps and watermarks, and physical media creation via DVD-RW. Each of the three interview rooms will be equipped with two HD IP cameras, a wall or ceiling-mounted microphone, a simple one-touch remote control for recording, an illuminated "Interview in Progress" sign, and a discrete flagging button. The monitoring station will feature a dedicated workstation for live feeds and playback, at least one 40-inch HD monitor, and necessary peripherals. The contract includes on-site professional installation, configuration, system verification, a comprehensive training session for up to ten personnel, and a minimum three-year warranty with technical support.
