Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Services
California Department of Transportation
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) requires comprehensive aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair services for two of their aircraft. This includes routine annual inspections, as well as on-call, non-routine repairs. Services must adhere to the Cirrus Airplane Maintenance Manual for Models SR22 and SR22T, the Hawker Beechcraft 100-Hour or Annual Long Form Inspection Guide, and all Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Potential bidders must be certified FAA Repair Stations in accordance with 14 CFR, Part 145. Maintenance and repair services must be performable at Sacramento Executive Airport (KSAC). The solicitation encourages participation from Small Businesses (SB) and Micro Businesses (MB), offering a five percent (5%) preference. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) incentive program is also in place, though not a mandatory requirement.
