]http://www.plfdparks.orgThe Plainfield Park District is accepting sealed proposals for the PV Inverter Replacement project at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center (PARC), Bid # 2068. Bids must be submitted by mail or hand delivery to the Plainfield Park District Administration Office at 23729 W. Ottawa Street, Plainfield, IL 60544, no later than June 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened publicly at the same address immediately after closing. Each bid must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title and bid number. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. No oral, faxed, or emailed proposals or modifications will be accepted. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates determined by the Illinois Department of Labor for Will County. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or bank cashier's check payable to the Plainfield Park District for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Bid information and project manuals can be obtained by emailing Bob Collins at Collins@plfdparks.org starting May 19, 2026, at noon. Project manuals are also available on the district's website at www.plfdparks.org or via email request. The Plainfield Park District reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, or accept portions of bids. The selected contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and executive orders, including those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
