Road Maintenance on County Road 12

Jasper County, Mississippi is soliciting bids for the construction of approximately 5.668 miles of road maintenance, excluding bridges, on CR 12 Taylorsville-Paulding Road. This project, identified as State Aid Program (SAP) Project No. SAP-31(10)M, will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities. The county ensures that minority business enterprises will have a full opportunity to participate and will not face discrimination. Plans and specifications are available at the Jasper County Chancery Clerk's office, the LSBP Engineer's office, and the State Aid Engineer's office in Jackson, Mississippi. Construction must adhere to the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Proposals must be submitted to the Jasper County Board of Supervisors, with the outside of the envelope clearly marked "SAP- 31(10)M" and including the contractor's certificate of responsibility number. Online bids will also be accepted. A certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Jasper County and the State of Mississippi, must accompany each proposal. Proposals with any qualifying letters will be considered irregular and will not be considered for award.
