Blood Bank Reagents and Supplies for VISN 22 Medical Centers

This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes to identify potential sources for blood bank reagents and supplies for the Blood Bank departments of VISN 22 facilities. The contract will be for a 5-year period, with a base year and four 1-year option periods, beginning September 1, 2026. The reagents and consumables must be Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved, American Association of Blood Bank (AABB) accredited, and College of American Pathologist (CAP) accredited. The contract is for Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) of specialized red cells reagents and anti-sera, which have a short shelf-life. No equipment or instruments are included in this procurement, and no IT security accreditation package is required as the supplies do not involve connection to the VA internal network or the handling of sensitive VA information. The contractor shall provide all products and materials according to the SOW specifications, meet or exceed specifications, have the ability to fill emergency supply requests, and will pay for all shipping fees. The items required include various types of typing cells, check cells, LISS, anti-sera, and antibody identification panels. All items quoted must be F.O.B. destination and shipped to multiple VISN 22 locations.
