Description

The County of Ventura is soliciting proposals for temporary staffing services to be provided on an as-needed basis to its various agencies and departments. The selected contractor will be responsible for sourcing, testing, background screening, and orienting temporary personnel for assignments that may range from short-term to long-term, not exceeding 90 days. Offerors are required to have been actively engaged in providing temporary personnel for at least the last three years, with a preference for those having an office or representative within Ventura County available during standard business hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST). The County currently utilizes a single agency for a wide range of temporary staffing classifications and has estimated expenditures of $743,059.05 for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 and $1,192,247.45 for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. The County reserves the right to award the contract to a primary vendor for the entire contract, by occupational category, by geographical area, or any combination thereof, based on its best interests. Proposals must include evidence of the offeror's experience and abilities in the specified services, including management services for compliance goals.
