Rankin County Board of Supervisors is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of crushed aggregates. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with an option for an additional six-month period. The required materials include Limestone #5, #6, #7, #89, #610, and Riprap (100# and 200#). Bids will be accepted for delivery to the Brandon Unit Shop, job sites within Rankin County (with price per ton plus haul charge per ton mile), or FOB at the supplier's site. All limestone must meet the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, be clean, tough, durable, uncoated, and free from excessive soft or disintegrated pieces. Washed limestone is required. Certified scales at the source or county-owned scales at the Brandon Unit Shop will determine tonnage. The county may request samples prior to bid approval. Bids can be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com or by paper to the Rankin County Board of Supervisors at 211 East Government Street, Suite A, Brandon, MS 39042. Bids are due by 8:00 a.m. on May 28, 2026, and will be opened at 9:00 a.m. on the same day. Participating municipalities within Rankin County may also utilize the awarded pricing through an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement.
