Ridge Manor Water Reclamation Facility Expansion & Emergency Operations Structure
County of Hernando Utilities
Hernando County Utilities is seeking a contractor to expand the Ridge Manor Water Reclamation Facility and construct an Emergency Operations Structure. The project involves the construction of a new 2.0 MGD water reclamation facility, with an option for an additional 1.0 MGD capacity. Additionally, an approximately 2,500 square foot Emergency Operations Structure will be built to house offices, a conference room, restrooms, and mechanical/SCADA rooms. This structure will also serve as an emergency operations center for department staff, equipped with backup power from the new facility. The scope includes site work, earthwork, grading, installation of yard piping, construction of various treatment basins and buildings, demolition of existing site facilities, and stormwater management system improvements. An additive alternate for expanding the WRF to 3.0 MGD AADF includes constructing a new Rapid Infiltration Basin (RIB) 5, an effluent disposal pump station, and modifying the existing 4-Stage Step-Feed BNR basin.
