Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a dry multi-stage roots pump to replace a broken pump used in their dilution refrigerator systems. These systems produce ultra-low temperatures for mission-critical experiments in metrology for quantum information science and electrical standards dissemination. The replacement pump must be the exact model Pfeiffer Vacuum A100 L Pump, Model Number A100L31324, to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure, including footprint and connections, allowing for interchangeable parts during maintenance. Key technical specifications for the required pump include a pumping speed of 100 m3/h, an ultimate pressure of 0.012 hPa, specific input and output connection flanges (DN50 ISO-KF and DN 25 ISO KF respectively), physical dimensions of 600 mm x 280 mm x 300 mm, an SPI 16 pin interface connection, and 1/4" NPT Quick Connects for water connections.
