The University of Wisconsin-Madison, through its Purchasing Services Department on behalf of the Arlington Agricultural Research Station, is requesting bids for the purchase of a Vertical Total Mixed Ration (TMR) Mixer. The mixer will be used for agricultural purposes at the Blaine Dairy, supporting a 500-cow milking facility. Key specifications include a minimum capacity of 495 cubic feet, front discharge capability on at least one side into a 36-inch feed bunk, and a maximum overall height of 106 inches with an extension. The mixer must also include replaceable hay cutting knives, magnets for metal debris collection, stainless steel replaceable liners, and a FeedWatch compatible scale system. The construction requires a minimum of 1/2" steel in the floor and 1/4" tub wall thickness. Bidders are required to be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, or dealers with service and repair capabilities, and must have at least three years of experience. The delivery terms are FOB Destination, with all costs and risk of loss borne by the Contractor. Payment terms are Net 30 Days after acceptance.
