Dubuque County Fuel Bid Request for FY2027
Dubuque County, IA
Dubuque County is soliciting sealed quotes for the supply of ethanol blended gasoline (gasohol) and premium dyed diesel fuel. The fuel will be used by the Dubuque County Secondary Road Department throughout Fiscal Year 2027, which runs from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Suppliers must provide product specification sheets for all fuels. Gasohol must be a blend of 90% unleaded gasoline and 10% denatured ethyl alcohol, meeting specific octane and purity requirements. Premium diesel fuel must be Ultra Low Sulfur and dyed for farm use. Pricing will be based on the Iowa Department of Transportation's daily rack prices plus a quoted margin, with specific tax handling for gasohol and diesel. Delivery is required within specified timeframes for both truck transport (7,000-8,000 gallons) and tank wagon (200-900 gallons) deliveries. The county reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities and may award contracts separately for each location.
