Job Order Contract for C-20 Mechanical Contractor

The County of San Diego is soliciting bids for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for C-20 Mechanical Contractor services. This contract will be used for repair, remodeling, and other repetitive work on various county facilities. The JOC will involve a collection of detailed repair and remodel tasks with established unit prices. Contractors will bid an Adjustment Factor to be applied to these unit prices. The contract has a maximum value of $3,000,000 and a base period of 12 months from the notice of award or expenditure of the maximum value, whichever occurs first. Bidders must be prequalified by the County and possess an active California State Classification C-20 Mechanical Contractor's License. The award will be based on the lowest Composite Adjustment Factor, calculated as 80% of the Normal Working Hours Adjustment Factor plus 20% of the Other Than Normal Working Hours Adjustment Factor.
