Mobile River Fender System Replacement

The City of Mobile, Alabama is soliciting bids for the Mobile River Fender System Replacement project (Project No: 2026-3005-06). This project involves the replacement of a vessel fender system. Plans and contract documents are available from Thompson Engineering, Inc. for a refundable deposit of $100.00. No bid packages will be issued less than 24 hours before the pre-bid conference, and no questions will be addressed after 12:00 p.m. on May 12, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on May 7, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the City Engineering Department, Room 357, Mobile Government Plaza. Attendance by a principal or current employee of the contracting company is required, and any contractor not represented will be disqualified. Bidders must be licensed contractors in Alabama with a Heavy and Railroad Construction Classification, including marine construction, and must have at least 10 years of experience in heavy marine construction. Prevailing wage rates will apply.
