Window Tint Installation Services for VA Facility in Austin, TX

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires the procurement and installation of commercial-grade dual-reflective window tint at their facility located at 8000 Metropolis Dr., Bldg. B, Austin, TX 78744. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials to complete the work. The scope of services includes tinting approximately 216 windowpanes, covering about 2,334 square feet, across three building zones: roof windows, the corner of the building, and the front of the building. The window tint must meet specific performance criteria, including a minimum 70% solar heat rejection, 99% UV rejection, and 70% glare reduction, with a visible light transmission between 10%-20%. The product must also have a minimum 10-year manufacturer warranty and be NFRC-certified. Installation must be performed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards, ensuring all glass surfaces are cleaned, tint is applied bubble-free and trimmed precisely, and surrounding surfaces are protected. The work is to be completed within 90 calendar days after contract award. The VA will award a firm-fixed-price contract.
