Black Hawk County is soliciting proposals for a turnkey audio/visual (AV) system upgrade for the basement conference room at the Black Hawk County Courthouse. The room is divisible by a movable partition and must support two independent meeting spaces as well as a combined-room mode. The project includes the procurement, installation, programming, integration, testing, and training for a new AV system. The scope of work involves reviewing and potentially reusing existing AV infrastructure such as displays, cameras, microphones, and control systems. The vendor will be responsible for providing and installing two enterprise-grade wireless presentation/conferencing systems, adding an additional camera and display for combined-room use, and programming the control system for intuitive operation. All necessary cabling, connectors, and infrastructure will be provided. The vendor must also provide comprehensive testing, documentation, end-user training, and available support and maintenance options. Optional alternates, such as automatic camera framing, may be submitted separately. Proposals will be evaluated based on cost, technical approach, technical support, experience, schedule, and the simplicity of the user experience. Black Hawk County reserves the right to request clarifications, conduct interviews, check references, and negotiate optional items.
