Pre-Qualified List for Tree Planting Services

The City of Pittsburgh's Office of Management & Budget is soliciting applications for a pre-qualified list of contractors for tree planting services. This includes the furnishing, purchasing, and installation of trees for restorations and streetscapes at various locations within the City of Pittsburgh. The scope of work also encompasses related tasks such as sidewalk removal and replacement, installation of tree grates, soil amendments, site protection, and ongoing maintenance like watering, pruning, and weeding for a three-year establishment period for restoration-sized trees and a one-year warranty for street or landscape trees. Vendors must be pre-qualified by the City to be eligible to bid on individual projects. The application process requires submission of an application packet, including an insurance certificate, IRS Form W-9, and a City-issued General Contractor License. The initial contract period is set to commence upon execution and will terminate on June 30, 2030. All bids must be submitted electronically via email.
